[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreign. [00:00:04] Speaker B: Welcome everybody. This is sources from the SOFA podcast. We are recording Wednesday night for college football and the NFL wild card weekend. We're going to recap a little bit of the firings. We were three for three on who we thought was for sure going to go in. And then we had a few others. A lot of coordinators that got fired, which we didn't really talk about that, but some of them were surprising as well, especially with Washington and looks like he just resigned. [00:00:34] Speaker A: Right. He wasn't fired in mutual part of ways. Yeah. [00:00:38] Speaker C: They're making it seem like. They're making it seem like he was fired though. [00:00:41] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:00:42] Speaker C: And they're making it seem like ownership was the one from on high. And I think there's a lot of questions on that Washington job right now. They had this one year of success, but like ownership isn't as hands off or letting things run the show as probably people thought. [00:00:58] Speaker B: Oh, really? [00:00:59] Speaker C: Previous ownership. I mean that's. I saw a couple posts on this and everything and obviously this has my bear slant to it because it was basically about Ben Johnson turning that job down after the first interview or whatever, like a couple of two years ago or whatever. [00:01:12] Speaker A: And they kind of slammed him for it. Right. Ownership from Washington, from what I remember they did. [00:01:17] Speaker C: That's where they came out and said all his interview is bad and all this type of stuff. But there was, there was something, things are coming out now. I was like, oh, he sends something in the interview and this could be all online conjecture but like about like where ownership was at and like what was about him. And now, you know, you, after making the conference championship game, you had him firing or mutual parting ways for an offensive coordinator who honestly was in the head coaching. Like, you know, last year I'm like, this guy was up there with Ben Johnson and people in like Chicago circles or people telling me like, oh, you should be hiring Cliff Kingsbury instead of Ben Johnson. Like, and a year later he's fired. Like that's where goes to show you on some of these coordinator stuff on like where people are at. People hype them up. I mean, Eric B. Enemy is another example. I mean he's the Bears like running backs coach right now. I was like. And that was the guy like, oh, we got to hire him as the head coach. I'm like, those, these positions don't always translate, but I think there's something deeper potentially going on in Washington. [00:02:08] Speaker B: Yeah, well, D.C. and O.C. gone, we'll get into in a little bit. [00:02:13] Speaker A: There's like a lot of the D.C. we knew that was coming because, I mean, Joe Whit had his, you know, responsibilities taken from what, week 12, week 13. [00:02:21] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:21] Speaker A: I mean, Kingsbury Mary, because, you know, he kind of runs the quarterback a lot. I think they had the third highest runs between quarterbacks and Daniels getting hurt. So they didn't like that as an offense. Yeah, I mean, Mariota did pretty well when he came in. I mean, they didn't have, what, probably 60% of their offensive weapons throughout the year. So, I mean, it really wasn't an office a problem. Well, it sounds like management a big thing, too, though. He was running the quarterback. [00:02:46] Speaker B: Yeah, they didn't. But then also a big thing. There's like, some, like, turmoil there. You know, they definitely, like, beefed up on veteran players when they, you know, when they changed the ownership and new regime. [00:02:59] Speaker A: Well, they're the oldest team in the league, right? Age wise. [00:03:01] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:03:01] Speaker B: So to not make. To not make any adjustments and expect them to be healthy for another year again. We just saw what happened. They were, like, completely decimated. [00:03:10] Speaker A: It's. [00:03:11] Speaker B: It's a very old team. You know, they didn't address some of the issues. So it's. It's. It's. I think that's more on the gm. Oh, no. Since we're talking about. You guys want to talk about the other firings or let's just. [00:03:24] Speaker A: We'll. [00:03:25] Speaker B: We'll come back to it, talk a little college football first. [00:03:27] Speaker A: I think we call. I think we called all the firings and possible. I think we've been spot on. [00:03:33] Speaker B: Carol. Yeah, well, we thought Carol was a possibility. That was really awesome. [00:03:38] Speaker A: Horrible. [00:03:39] Speaker B: A lot of people shocked. But, dude, I sent Jason a whole bunch of memes. I'm like, I'm telling you, man, these guys have been winding fire for a long time. [00:03:45] Speaker A: They. [00:03:46] Speaker B: They did a collage. [00:03:49] Speaker A: There's been a lot of fire where that smoke's been for the last two months. Yeah. [00:03:52] Speaker B: So, like, people are, like. A lot of people are rejoicing. A lot of people, like, well, who else are we gonna get? [00:03:59] Speaker A: So. [00:03:59] Speaker B: I don't know. I don't know. [00:04:00] Speaker C: I don't know. I mean, Aaron made the right call, I think. Stefanski, I think for both Stefanski and Harbaugh, too. I mean, you could. I don't know. If you question your choice. Maybe it's that change of scenery thing for Harbaugh. He's been there so long. Hey, we need a different voice in the locker room, a different vision for, you know, the second half of Lamar's. You know, Lamar's career. But, I mean, for those two individuals, Stefanski and Harbaugh specifically, it was like they got fired. And immediately every other organization was reaching out for an interview. So, yeah, it's like one of those things. Do you question you firing the guy that everyone else is super interested, Like, Miami allegedly is interested in Harbaugh, and they don't even have an opening. [00:04:37] Speaker A: Yeah, seven. Seven coach or seven organizations called Harbaugh's agent within 45 minutes, and Miami is one of them. I think Colin, you know, Calhart brought that up. He's like, you know, you get you made the wrong choice when you fire a coach, and literally their phone is blowing up, like, 10 minutes later. Like, half the league is calling them. Like, hey, can we set up an interview with you? [00:04:58] Speaker B: There was a story that came out how somebody from the jets organization after they interviewed. What's his face? The new pages head coach. I'm sorry. Been a long day, Rabel. Yeah, they interviewed him, and, like, they were kind of talking behind the scenes, like, why did Tennessee fire this guy? This guy's brilliant. [00:05:17] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:05:17] Speaker B: But these idiots didn't try to hire him either. So. I don't know, like, April ever gonna. [00:05:22] Speaker A: Go to the Jets? Because I think I feel like New England just kind of like trolls. And the jets, like, they tease them like, oh, yeah, we're interested. Like Billichek Brable. But, like, behind closed doors, like, they hate Woody Johnson. There's hatred that organization. [00:05:36] Speaker B: It's Johnson. I think it's just all Woody Johnson. [00:05:39] Speaker A: I think you're right. [00:05:40] Speaker B: Yeah. Any other firings? There's, like, some, you know, Eber fluss. Jason, you're. [00:05:46] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:05:46] Speaker B: You're a favorite coach. He's gone. [00:05:48] Speaker C: I. I think Eber Floose, you know, needs to be considered for either, like, the Green Bay packers defensive coordinator, position of the Vikings defensive coordinator, maybe even the Lions. The Lions need some juice. I think he should be considered to hire. [00:06:02] Speaker A: I think he's gonna be an analyst or consultant with one of those organizations for sure. [00:06:07] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:07] Speaker A: No, I mean, I think. Yeah. Well, we knew that 10 weeks ago. [00:06:15] Speaker B: Yeah. Any other firings? No, that was it. [00:06:19] Speaker A: There's probably. Well, yeah, because maybe one or two. Raheem Morris was fired last time we came on. Right? [00:06:24] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:06:25] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Okay. Right. [00:06:26] Speaker B: Yeah, That's. Right away. [00:06:27] Speaker A: Zach Taylor saved his job, which we thought was a possibility. [00:06:31] Speaker B: Him and the GM dude, it sounds like the owner doesn't want to go through the process right now, so they're gonna do one more year with Joe Burrow. Joe Burrow. Is going to quit on them watch. And. [00:06:44] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, next year, kind of a make or break. Todd Bull say safe in Tampa. We. We thought that was a real possibility, having won the division three straight years. I thought he earned another year. Maybe some changes coming there, maybe the OC out because Todd Bowles is the defensive coordinator. He calls the plays, so we'll see what happens there. [00:07:05] Speaker B: I have no problem with Bulls. Yeah, Bull's a good guy. He built enough equity in that organization, so he deserves it. [00:07:11] Speaker A: Yeah, I think that's. I think that's where we're at right now, right? I think, if anything, I think McDaniels in Miami, kind of the wild card supposedly is part of the GM search, but like you mentioned, Romeo, they're calling hardball. I don't know. [00:07:26] Speaker B: Like, what if they got Harbaugh in and then they won? Like, hey, McDaniel, do you mind just being the OC or Harbaugh? [00:07:34] Speaker A: What about co head coaches? Have we ever had co head coaches? [00:07:39] Speaker B: Why not? Why not be the first one? How cool would that be? [00:07:42] Speaker A: I think it would be cool, honestly. [00:07:44] Speaker C: Well, I mean, the Raiders are basically paying like five coaches right now, so they might as well just bring all these guys back and just get them. [00:07:51] Speaker A: Are the Raiders the first organization I think ever to have like four straight new coaches starting a new season or five, whatever it is they got coming. [00:07:57] Speaker B: Up, I think it's six. Because they had a few interims, right? [00:08:01] Speaker C: No, Pierce was the interim. That was the only, I think, real interim. But got the job. But, yeah, I think they're paying what they're paying Gruden McDaniels. [00:08:11] Speaker A: Do they have to play Gruden because of the lawsuit or is that the NFL is going to have to back pay that? [00:08:16] Speaker C: I don't know. I mean, maybe they haven't, but. [00:08:19] Speaker A: All right. [00:08:20] Speaker B: Bless you. [00:08:21] Speaker A: Bless you. Yes, thank you. [00:08:23] Speaker C: I had to get this. I get the sneeze button on that one. [00:08:25] Speaker B: I think if we see any other firings, we might see one or two, but they're all in the playoffs right now, so. [00:08:30] Speaker C: I mean, the. The. The Florida one's interesting. I mean, I don't know, you know, you let that leak out already that, you know, McDaniel's the. He's still your guy, but not if I get. There's a really good guy out there that want a Super Bowl. [00:08:44] Speaker B: Well, yeah, why not? I can't see Harbaugh in Miami, though. That's so weird. [00:08:50] Speaker A: Where do you think Harbaugh fits? [00:08:52] Speaker B: I think just set out this Cycle, man. I, I don't think it's a good coaching cycle right now. [00:08:57] Speaker C: I think this cycle, the team suck. I mean, this is, this is the worst of the worst. [00:09:01] Speaker B: I mean, well, just ownership, you know, like, like the, like the GMs in place. Like there's nothing like really. I, I think if anything, Baltimore is the best job and that might be the only good job out there. [00:09:13] Speaker A: I think the only two good jobs the Giants, Baltimore, I think are good jobs, dude. [00:09:17] Speaker C: That's what you say. I would say if I'm seeing someone Harb on this cycle would be the Giants. They have a, like kind of legacy ownership group, you know, a little more old school. They. They have a, they have some foundation with Jackson, Dar family. Yeah. So I. That'd be the one. Or it seems to be fit or that's just a little more of an old school cultural type thing. And you're bringing in a guy that had this job for what was it, 18 years or something. [00:09:41] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, that would work, dude. [00:09:45] Speaker B: Like, like the Giants, they have a, A good running back, good quarterback, good receiver, good defensive end. I think they have a good safety as well. Their GM was what. What was getting flack for getting rid of Barkley. But, you know, like the reasoning actually made sense and, and they saved Cap and gave an opportunity to win. Win a ring. They got some good players in that. So I don't know. Yeah, those are two good jobs. [00:10:11] Speaker A: I mean, the Giants aren't paying anybody except, except Burns on defensive end. I mean, all their guys are young. They're not paying. Yeah, they got a good left tackle. I mean. Yeah, the Giants have a nice roster. I mean, I think Jason and Rome touched on it. Would they blow like six fourth quarter leads in the final eight minutes of games? I mean, they win half those games where they got seven wins. They're right there at.500. [00:10:36] Speaker B: It's there. So it's there. [00:10:38] Speaker A: They're. They're seven to nine team. Nine win team right now. If you get the right guy in there. [00:10:44] Speaker B: Oh, Harbaugh. Yeah. It would be an 8th night win team at least. [00:10:47] Speaker A: I think even Stevansky. I know they're high on his list, so. [00:10:50] Speaker B: At the same thing though, he only got eight wins with the Ravens. So half a dozen succeed the other. Is that the phrase? [00:10:57] Speaker C: I don't think that's the phrase, but I think you're close, so I'll let. [00:11:01] Speaker B: What is it? What is it? [00:11:03] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:11:04] Speaker C: That doesn't sound right. [00:11:05] Speaker A: It didn't sound right. [00:11:05] Speaker B: It is six of the other, we'll have a research team look it up. All right. [00:11:12] Speaker A: We have 30 people in the background getting to work right now. [00:11:15] Speaker B: Let's switch gears real quick into NFL playoffs. We already talked a little bit about the, some of the firings. I'm pretty sure we'll see some more after maybe the wild card round, maybe even after the, the round after that. This kicks off on Saturday. Aaron, do you want to plug in wherever you got these lines from? [00:11:39] Speaker A: I got these lines from Any Action sports. Any Action Sports. Rome. That's where I got them from. [00:11:45] Speaker B: Nice. All right, cool. Any action sports. Hope you enjoy the plug. Wild card round. We'll start with the first one. That's at 4:30pm so these are all afternoon games. Sweet. [00:11:56] Speaker A: They're all eastern time. [00:11:57] Speaker C: Rome. [00:11:58] Speaker A: So it's gonna be 1:30. [00:11:59] Speaker B: Okay, never mind. All right. LA Rams at the Carolina. [00:12:06] Speaker A: I do believe that's correct. Right. Jason? This is a 130 kickoff. [00:12:11] Speaker C: This is a 130 kickoff. [00:12:12] Speaker A: Okay. [00:12:13] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:12:13] Speaker A: So the times are Eastern. [00:12:14] Speaker B: All right, cool. Los Angeles Rams against the Carolina Panthers. The almighty Jason's second team. [00:12:21] Speaker A: Who. [00:12:22] Speaker B: He said I was going to go the playoffs as a, as a seventh seed. [00:12:26] Speaker A: He, he, he was, he was on there like week five if I remember correctly. So he, he was, he was selling that one. [00:12:34] Speaker B: But he undersold them because they were not the seventh seed, fourth seed. They overd. Delivered with the under delivering record. [00:12:42] Speaker A: Best record in the NFC in these playoffs. So I, I don't know if he really undersold us. I think he, you know, they just got misleated improperly by the NFL wild. [00:12:52] Speaker B: Spread here at ten and a half for the visiting Rams. Money line is minus 600 for the Rams, plus 450 for the Carolina Panthers. Over. Under is 46 and a half. Jason will let you go first since. [00:13:09] Speaker A: Well, this is the second team. [00:13:10] Speaker B: Yeah, it's your second team. Both your teams are playing on Saturday. It's, it's Jason Saturday wild card weekend. [00:13:16] Speaker A: Wow. [00:13:17] Speaker B: Extravaganza. [00:13:18] Speaker C: I don't know about the Panthers being my second team. I don't like this narrative that's coming. You can't choose two NFCs. I don't know if I like that. If anything, the Jags might be my second team. I think if they're picking one in the AFC all of a sudden. Not all of a sudden. Hey, I got, I got a Mark Brunel somewhere around here. Right. Or. And probably the Keenan McArdle jersey and the Jimmy Smith in the, you know. [00:13:43] Speaker B: Nice. [00:13:43] Speaker A: The Tony Baselli oh classic. [00:13:46] Speaker C: But I did have the Mark Brunel jersey. I'll die in that young kid in Chicago. I wanted to be different. They had cool teal jerseys in 1996-97. It was a left handed quarterback. Mark Brunel was the guy right. I was. [00:13:57] Speaker A: I was your next, your next OC in Detroit. Mark Brunel. Let's get it done. Come on Dan Campbell, step up to the point. [00:14:02] Speaker B: I would love that. I would love that actually. All right Jason, you get first dibs. Who you got? [00:14:09] Speaker C: Well, as much as I enjoyed the Carolina Panthers and their Cinderella story to get to mediocrity at and I think it ends and it ends tragically here in this Saturday game versus the Rams. Rams just got too much offensively and defensively. I know we can probably throw our west to east thing in here for the Rams as well too. But when it comes to the playoffs I think Sean McVeigh gets this teams up ready to play. I think betting favorite in Vegas. I think they're going to come out and really put it to here Carolina. So I'll take the Rams even with the big spread at minus 10 and. [00:14:44] Speaker B: A half the Rams and with a 10 and a half. Okay Aaron. [00:14:50] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean this is a rematch when they play here. Let me take a look at the schedule here. Rams. Carolina played back in week 13. Week 13 it looks like here. You know Stafford was on a roll, right. I think he had like 18 TDs, no picks. He had three turnovers in that game. Carolina's interior defensive front controlled that game. Bryce Young, that was the best game. I think he's played in a meaningful game as a pro. Two fourth down touchdowns. He led there everywhere I hear Carolina is going to get blown out. They don't belong in this game. And it kind of fits the narrative, right. Once you think Carolina's dead, they show up at number and win. I think they can beat the Rams again. I not saying they will but I'm going to take the 10 and a half the Rams on a short week. They traveled to Atlanta, took an L short week, came back here against Arizona. Barely beat them even though they won by 17. Was a close game late in the third quarter. Short week traveling back east here in the time zone. This fits perfectly for Carolina. I think it's a tough battle. I like Carolina getting ten and a half feel like it's another three four point finish here. So give me the Panthers. Bryce Young, Dave Canalis can they show up for me once when I take them Panthers plus ten and a half. [00:16:01] Speaker B: Yeah. The one time you actually do like you finally watching a full Panthers game is like this past year. [00:16:10] Speaker A: It'd be the third game on the full screen. I watched the one on Tampa on. [00:16:13] Speaker B: The full screen so fast. Dude, you're just like this. [00:16:16] Speaker A: I've watched him on twice team and they've been terrible. I'm hoping the third time's a charm. [00:16:22] Speaker C: I'll be honest, it's an easier watch when they're on the red zone channel. [00:16:26] Speaker A: Exactly. [00:16:27] Speaker C: It's about three or four cut ins. [00:16:29] Speaker A: They're easier to watch when they're on like YouTube is multi view. I'll put it that way. When I'm not really paying too much attention. [00:16:36] Speaker B: Yeah, it. They have good players, they have some nice plays. It's just ugly in between it and. And they might be like the. The prettiest, ugliest team out there in, in this playoffs. I agree with you Aaron though. Both these teams have been stumbling into the playoffs. Rams needed that win to kind of just kind of get like a little jolt in here. But I still think there's like a lot of internal issues there. They're probably feeling bad that Stafford might have lost the MVP to Drake. Maybe on the Patriots we'll find out. But Carolina's been due for a big game. I think they're going to control the running game. I think they're to do really well. I do believe that Young is going to show out. It's like this is the first seat. What our first postseason a long time featuring a lot of young guys and honestly young probably. I don't know. I was gonna say he. He's probably has the most experience to do well in the playoffs since he has a couple years in his belt and he has a lot of come from behind wins. But we'll see what the Bears have to do as well. But yeah, I'll take the Panthers plus the 10 half. I think Rams still win though. They're too good. They were still super bowl favorites up until the recent stumble. I think this is a tuneup game. If the Rams are going to go on a run, we're going to see this, the switch happen right here, right now. [00:18:01] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean there is a chance of some rain there. It's like 70% and I mean as we mentioned, I mean that defensive front of Carolina controlled the game last time. They're going to have to do it again. If I'm Carolina, they won that game 3128. Offensively my goal is to get 30 points. I think Carolina needs to score at least a minimum 27 to win it. You're not going to shut down Stafford McVeigh in that offense the whole game. Devonte Adams likely back and it's. It's going to be tough. But Carolina and Rome, we've seen this all year when they look done dead. Their offense has been terrible against Seattle and Tampa Bay. They just find a way to show up. I think it's a close game. Everybody's calls for a blowout. So I'm going to go the opposite. It's going to be a close game. [00:18:44] Speaker B: I got the over. I think it goes over 46 and a half. [00:18:47] Speaker A: I think for Carolina to win the overs probably has to hit. [00:18:50] Speaker B: It has to happen. [00:18:51] Speaker A: They have to have they score points. Unless they. Yeah, they have, you know, 16, 13 game but it doesn't feel like they can. They can win with 16 points. They got to get 27 or more. [00:19:01] Speaker B: Well, let's switch over to the next game. But maybe we should look at what the home games have looked like because they've had a few ugly victories too at home, low scoring. [00:19:09] Speaker A: They're an ugly team. Rome, there's nothing pretty about Carolina. There's just nothing. I got nothing pretty to say about them. I like their jerseys. That's about it. [00:19:17] Speaker B: They have nice jerseys. Yeah. [00:19:20] Speaker A: All right. [00:19:20] Speaker B: The other Saturday matinee is your guys's team. Aaron Toller against the Jason Zinky Bears Gribby pack favored by 1 1/2. [00:19:35] Speaker A: Over. [00:19:36] Speaker B: Under 45 and a half. Aaron, we'll let you go first on this one. [00:19:40] Speaker A: Yeah. Rome, I mean the jersey might have already given away the pick, but I'll give you my analysis anyways here. I mean this game came out kind of a pick. Then the Bears were favored by one and a half. Now the packers are back favored by one and a half. Been a lot of love fest this year for Jason's Bears and rightfully so. You know, division winners, NFC north, they've had a great year. But on Saturday comes to an end. Jordan Love, he's coming to town. Last game he played, took that helmet to helmet hit, got knocked out. He's had two weeks to study the film. Get ready for this game. Matt Laflore, maybe his job's on the line, maybe not. Depending on who you heard from. Him and Ben Johnson. They don't like each other. Let's not kid ourselves. Respect. But they don't like each other. And for me, for the Green Bay look, the last game they played it seriously, they got embarrassed by Baltimore. This Is a team that's lost four in a row. They know what Chicago is going to do, come in, try to run it down their throat. This is a man up game for Green Bay, for the organization, for the city. This is a big game for Jordan. Love to show that he is not just, you know, an average quarterback that he could take this team to the hypes that they have not seen since Rogers and Farb took him to a Super Bowl. I like to pack four game losing streak to go in the Soldier field out physical the Bears out scheme the Bears and beat the Bears. Give me the packers moneyline minus one and a half to beat Jay Z's Chicago Bears Saturday night. [00:21:09] Speaker C: Jason felt like it was getting a little personal there for a second. [00:21:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:21:16] Speaker A: It'S been a love affair for Jason's Bears this year. Honestly, 20, 26, I just can't take it no more right now. Wow. Wow. [00:21:23] Speaker C: All right, all right. [00:21:24] Speaker A: Well. [00:21:26] Speaker C: All right. I'm gonna collect myself a little bit in a rebuttal to that. So yeah, it is a love affairs. It is for a reason, Rome, because the Bears are back. Soldier Field this Saturday prime time. Like there's a reason Amazon wants this game. This is game of the week right here. It doesn't matter what happens on Sunday. It's this game right here. Last time, last two times. These teams have played in the playoffs twice before. The winner has gone on to win the NFL championship. And I say NFL championship because one was the super bowl, one was the litter NFL championship. All right, so this is the third one and so we'll see what happens. But last week's loss, a lot a lot of talk around the city of Chicago that, you know, it just didn't feel like the same Ben Johnson offense last year. Bears were playing a lot of zone ish coverage, man, and weird situations. They weren't trying to put a lot on film versus that Lions game. But what it mattered most, they came back, still lost, but a lot of anger inside that Bears locker room. Coming on, starting at the top with Ben Johnson coming down. Ben Johnson told the team this week, Rome, you better be planning for the next five weeks. Don't plan a vacation or nothing. If you plan a vacation or something, go ahead. You don't need to come to work the next day. So this team's getting ready to buckle up for a five week journey to the super bowl right now. Rome, running games to be going, Colston, Loveland, Luther Burden, they've been proving something here down the stretch. You know, getting these rookies involved Roma Dunze going to be back potentially. Kyler Gordon back in the secondary for the Bears give another a good piece that they didn't have in the last matchup. I like the Soldier Field crowd room. They're going to be into it. Directions of the crowd. We're quiet while Caleb's at work. We're getting this stadium loud and hype when Jordan loves going to work. And then the final variable room. According to the last forecast, it's an 85% chance of snow in Chicago on Saturday. Rum. This is bare weather. They're gonna ground and pound in the ground and it's ready to go. So I don't care what the spread is. Rome, I'll give you this. Where's the camera? Chicago Bears right there. [00:23:32] Speaker B: Nice, man. I. I love it. Yes. [00:23:37] Speaker A: I guess the tiebreaker here. Rome. [00:23:39] Speaker B: Yeah. You know, I actually don't want to pick this game at all. This is a stay away from me. It's a stable playoff stairway. [00:23:45] Speaker A: This is classic Rome right here. [00:23:47] Speaker C: Oh, you had better stay away all year, man. It was time. It was time. [00:23:51] Speaker B: It's a stay away as soon as. [00:23:52] Speaker A: We don't bring those circle lines. Damn. This day was back in business. 2026. [00:23:58] Speaker B: But there's a few things you guys mentioned. You guys mentioned that it's a love affair. And we all know affairs and badly, they never end good. It always has. [00:24:09] Speaker A: The. The. [00:24:09] Speaker B: The married couple, the other spouse, they always find out. What are they gonna find out? Well, Ben Johnson probably already knows that the Bears don't really play well in the cold. And these Bears, they like to hibernate when it's winter time. And that's what we're doing. We're entering winter season in the NFL where the big dogs come out and play Lions, Tigers, but no Bears. I think the nice season comes to an end. Love shows out. He's earning that contract. And if you remember, every Green bay quarterback age 26 or 27, year six or whatever, whatever it is, it's a weird Super Bowl. I'm not saying the packers win the super because they have a lot of entries. If they had Mika Parsons, they had a few other guys, we might be saying a different tune. But even without love, they still showed out in some of these games. And there's still a tough out with everyone back. They rest everybody for good reason. That's why they lost the last few games was for this game specifically. This is for the pride and joy of the North. Is it east or west? I don't know why they call it the Northwest, but the North, Central, that's what this is. [00:25:22] Speaker C: Midwest. [00:25:23] Speaker B: The Midwest. There you go. That was a big fail. [00:25:28] Speaker C: And this is for the North. Rome, this is Game of Thrones. This is the king of the north right now. Because the Bears are the king of the north right now. [00:25:34] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:25:36] Speaker A: Two games Rome, separated by one point point differential. These two teams right now, really both. [00:25:42] Speaker C: Games ended on field goals. [00:25:44] Speaker B: Oh, that's right. That's right. I'm picking the pack. That's my lean. But Saturday afternoon before the game because the weapon, Chicago has a lot of weapons. Can the packers defense show up one more time and stop their two headed running backs? They're loaded, wide receiver, core. Now they got like a two headed tight end group as well who can block and catch and go on the run. Does Caleb Williams let loose? Rookie quarterbacks are like their first time in the playoffs, typically don't do well. So we'll see how the pressure gets to him. But this could be any man's game. But if Chicago wins, I think this is changing the guard. And the Lions have to buckle up because they have to come back next year and take the division back. Otherwise they're in deep. But if the Bears win this one, they're going to be leading that group for a while and it's gonna be ugly. And the packers are going to be looking for a new head coach. That's what's on the line this week. All right. I feel like I picked nobody. [00:26:50] Speaker A: You didn't. [00:26:51] Speaker C: You didn't pick anyone. [00:26:52] Speaker A: You picked the packers room. All right, get the Sunday's games. [00:26:56] Speaker B: Sunday, man. Sunday, it's where it's at. We got Buffalo and Jacksonville in the morning, Followed by the 49ers and the Eagles, then Chargers and Patriots. It's locked and loaded starting off with Buffalo favored by one point. Aaron, you mentioned the wrong team was favored. A lot of people reverberated those same sentiments on like other radio shows and podcasts. Everyone likes Jacksonville right now. The over unders 52 in Jacksonville, which I think is easily doable. If it was in Buffalo, not so much. But Jason, you go first on this one. [00:27:42] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:27:44] Speaker C: Aaron and I both said it. We think the wrong team's favored. And as much as I do want to see my predictions come true at the beginning of the season, I got real concerned about Buffalo and where they've been through us this entire season defensively, opportunities the entire season. And we're really going. I mean this game's going to come down to what can Josh Allen do at the end of the game. And so I won't be surprised either way who wins this game. But Jacksonville is hot. They know how they know who they are. Trevor Lawrence, like last, I don't know what, seven weeks. Aaron, eight weeks, like playing really the best football of his career. You know, they have a really good running back and they got a second one tooting on this fourth round pick out of this last year. That's been really good. Step it up. You see Parker Washington, you know, slot receiver that's really been coming come into his own and finding a place within this offense. I just think the Jags are going to be able to score and it's all going to in the shoulders of Josh Allen. Wrong team's favored. I'm going to take the Jags, but you know, again, I'm not going to be shocked if either team wins in this game if it comes down to Josh Allen with the ball at the end of the fourth quarter. [00:28:56] Speaker A: It's a weird game, Rome, because when you look at this team's. Jacksonville's got a better offense, they got a better defense, they got a better kicker. Yeah. I'm even going to go as far to say they got better coaches and coordinators. The only thing Buffalo has better is the MVP and Josh Allen. And in order for Buffalo to win this game, MVP Josh Allen's gonna have to ball out now smart for Buffalo. Last week they sat him and came in, he did one play and they got out to keep his streak alive for consecutive starts. So he should be a lot more healthy. We know he's been battling an ankle foot injury here in the last month. That's really hampered him. So not playing last week, I think benefits. Jason said, look, that Josh Allen is gonna have to do something. He's gonna have to pin on the Cape. He's gonna have to be Superman because this Bill's defense isn't very good. This is the best offense probably in the afc, maybe the NFL outside of the Rams. They might even be better than them because they've been scoring at a crazy rate here as of late. Trevor Lawrence playing MVP caliber football. They can run the ball defensively. They get turnovers, their kicker get hit from 60, 70 yards. It's not a problem for them. I like Jacksonville to win this game. I know there's a video on YouTube Rome of you and Jason showing us as Liam Cohen lovers and all that. Yes, we are. I love Liam Cohen again this weekend. I like Jacksonville this weekend. I am worried about what Josh Allen can do, but I just don't think it's going to be enough against a speedy, quick, aggressive defense like Jacksonville. I'll take the Jags as a home dog to win outright. [00:30:34] Speaker B: This is a very interesting game staying away from this one, but I'm a big Josh Allen guy. And just like on Step brothers when, when O'Reilly says, like, what if Nancy sees me with my pubes out? She's already had the, the old bull. What would she do once she sees the young calf? And I don't know how that fits in particularly, but the Bills are the older veteran grizzly team. And just like how the father whooped those two guys asses later on the movie, I feel like that's what's gonna happen in this game. That was like a weird pull here. [00:31:10] Speaker A: You write that one down as a comedy joke, Rome, or what is that? You've been holding on that one for a minute or. [00:31:14] Speaker B: No, I just watched that movie the other day and I love it. It's like one of my favorite movies. [00:31:19] Speaker A: That's a good one. [00:31:20] Speaker B: It's Josh Allen, all right. He's the mvp, is the best football player in the NFL right now, and it's going to take more than a team effort to bring them down. They got some rest. And, and by the way, this Bill's defense was one of the tighter defenses in the second half of the season. They really tuned some things out so metric wise they can compete when they have a good game plan. I feel like they really found some things in the latter half. Jacksonville, they've had a great season. It's been a great year. I'm actually surprised with how well their quarterback has played because I'm not a big, you know, we know that Rome. [00:31:58] Speaker A: You wanted to go live in Vegas at 1am After I said Trevor Lawrence was better than Brock Purdy in a top 15 quarterback. [00:32:04] Speaker B: Right. I already know Wild still that, that, that, that's a wild take. I would not take him over Brock Pretty, but Jacksonville's loaded, man. They got all the chips against him. It's just, it's, it's a grizzled veteran team against the new kid on the block. I'm taking the veteran team in this one just because of that. Check that. I gotta work on that analogy a little bit more. [00:32:28] Speaker C: Yeah, I didn't know where you were going with it. Maybe it's gonna sound better on the pod, but you know, we, hey, we all watch a really good movie and then, you know, getting infatuated with a quote of it. I don't know how it works, but maybe it Did Rob? I'll give you credit. [00:32:42] Speaker B: I don't know. All right, so I'm eating like almonds right now. San Francisco 49ers against the Philadelphia Eagles. Eagles here by four and a half. [00:32:53] Speaker A: Over. [00:32:53] Speaker B: Under is 44 and a half. Aaron? [00:32:56] Speaker A: Yeah, this is one of the spreads that initially came out at three and a half. The Sharps jumped on it, quickly, pumped Philadelphia to four and a half. All the other lines have pretty much relatively stayed the same. I love Philadelphia this weekend. Niners are just banged up traveling here to Philadelphia. It's going to be cold against a team that the Eagles sat all their guys last week. They didn't care about getting the two or three seed dialed in. They didn't care whether or not it was gonna be the Niners or the Rams. Unfortunately for the Niners, it just happens to be them. Trent Williams, not practicing. Ricky Purcell, not practicing. Boothane, their main linebacker that took over for Fred Warner, he's out. The injuries just keep piling up for the 49ers. They've had a great season, a great run, but unfortunately for them, it comes to an end. Love Philadelphia on the moneyline parlay layout with a couple other teams if you want, but give me Philadelphia minus four and a half. Hard to imagine the Niners keeping this game within a touchdown. I. I just. I love Philadelphia this weekend. [00:33:55] Speaker B: I think that's absurd. Jason. [00:33:57] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't think it's absurd at all. Rome. I agree with Aaron on this one. I. The Niners have been able to get by in a lot of these games. You know, with all the injuries they got easy schedule throughout the year. I mean, that, that would spend a lot of the crux. We're going to talk about a bunch of these teams with easy schedules. The Niners able to survive with a. With a lot of their games because of, hey, they're playing, you know, opponents, but you play who you play and you know, they, their offense showed up and, you know, torched a average, below average Bears defense. They stepped up in game days where their big games where they're at. But I think the Eagles, I think just another cut above and at the beginning of the year, they should have been the best team in the nfc. Traveling across the country to Philadelphia, playing in this environment, I just think there's just, just something different. I, I think it was a bad matchup. I think the Niners are always hoping they were going to go to Chicago and. And that was like going to be better for them versus the Bears defense. But I think the Eagles defense Is is different. And I like the Eagles as well. [00:34:49] Speaker B: Niners were hoping to get the one seed. That didn't happen. But either way, Eagles knew that they were because they're playing either the rams or the 49ers, two Super bowl contenders. And it's an uphill battle. Who has a better coach in this game. I give the nod to the Niners, who has a better quarterback in this game. I give the nod also to the Niners, who has a better running back in this game. I also give the nod to the Niners who has a better tight end in this game. I also give to the Niners who has a better defense. Of course, Eagles are loaded, but this Robert Sala. I got kicked out of the New York jets. Just they can lose more games and not get an interception. This guy's a genius. And they're on another level using every single piece in the puzzle. It's a Lego set. And they keep on rebuilding this machine even better and better with less and less pieces. This is no match. The Niners are the better team. [00:35:42] Speaker A: And. [00:35:43] Speaker B: And they also play really well in cold weather. When's the last time they actually played bad in a cold weather game? This. This cold California team, they're locked and loaded, man. And this is the first step to make it back to the Super Bowl. This is one of my dark horses to make it back to the Super Bowl. The way this team is constructed, they're kind of. They're missing a lot of guys, but they play their hearts out. And Shanahan and Salah have a hell of a game plan. I'm going with the Niners all the way for this game. I'll take the four and a half. Give me four and a half. I'm taking it. [00:36:19] Speaker A: You got it. Room. [00:36:21] Speaker B: I will. All right, last game for Sunday. Chargers and the Pats in New England. England favored by three and a half, featuring the MVP front runner Drake May. 46 over under Aaron. [00:36:37] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, this is, you know, Chargers got the seven seed. Kind of look like they wanted the seven seed. They sat all their starters against the Broncos, kind of set themselves up for this game. Patriots. Drake, May, you mentioned Rome. Likely MVP favorite here. Had a great season. The Patriots, we've touched on it a lot. Easiest schedule in the NFL by far this year. Easiest schedule in the NFL since 1999. So they took advantage of it. Won their plenty of football games this year. Chargers, we've documented it all year, traveling east to west.04 against the spread this year.2 and 2 in those games. Straight up but oh, and 4 against the number. I really like the under 46 in this game. I think it's going to be the Chargers defense as one of the better units out there. I think they can keep this game resting their guys. They'll have a good game plan. I think they can keep New England out of the end zone. Chargers interesting stat. I looked up as far as teams when gold to goal for chances against touchdowns. Number one defense in the league. So they don't allow touchdowns on golden goal situations. But we know their offensive line is a mess. It's in shambles. I don't care who they throw out there, it's going to be they're going against a tough unit in New England. New England can cover on the secondary. That's kind of how they're built. They got good run guys in the interior, really good corners on the outside. They can cover aggressive safeties. I like New England to win this game. Money line is probably the safer play. That's where I would lean. But I like the under 46. So give me the patriots money line under 46 as my. My plays for this game. [00:38:10] Speaker B: Nice, Jason. [00:38:12] Speaker C: I like the Patriots as well. Aaron already documented the, you know, traveling for the Chargers for them going west east. Additionally, just the offensive line like it's. It's crazy how this team is able to score points given where their offensive line play has been throughout this year. And I know that's probably gonna be a huge focus for variable in this defense as they go into this game. Three and a half is a tough line. I would say I'd be staying away if I'm taking a roam on this because I don't love the three and a half. Aaron's probably right. You own this on the money line. But I do think the Patriots win. [00:38:44] Speaker B: It is tough, man. Chargers looked good in the beginning of the season. They have some tough hits in the middle and that offensive line is just atrocious. That's something that they need to address next year. But they've been surprisingly, you know, still one of the better teams in the league. And New England hasn't had too much competition from the upper echelon. Besides facing the Bills, they've done pretty well. Rabel Goss's team locked and loaded. It's hard to imagine though the pat of the Pats young team, new regime already making moves in a deep playoff run. I really don't know what. What to expect from this. The three and a half is a little weird. I. You like the under on this one, right? [00:39:28] Speaker A: Aaron, I do like the under 46. [00:39:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I would tend to agree. I think it's gonna be pretty ugly. Harbaugh has some of these ugly playoff games and so does Rabel as well. They have never been like really beautiful, high scoring, you know, playoff machines. Even when he was doing things with what Derek Henry and I can't remember who the. Ryan something. Yeah, there you go. I did like him, but I can't. [00:39:53] Speaker A: Remember I didn't like Tannehill. [00:39:55] Speaker B: Yeah, this is a pickup for me. I, I think my lean is charges for an upset just because all the newness with the Pats. But I would probably take the Chargers with the plus three and a half. I like that hook. I think it's be a, a field goal type of game. Really close and ugly. And I'll take the under as well. I think that's a pretty safe play on that one. Last game for the wild card weekend. Game of the week for me. You guys, you guys gonna have like, like a hard comedown after Saturday. Me chilling. [00:40:29] Speaker A: Well, Sunday's a relaxed day. Monday we'll be recharged. The boots will be recharged by then. Rome. [00:40:36] Speaker B: You, you Jason, really quick. Do you have the paths with the points or just. [00:40:42] Speaker A: I think he's got Pat's money line. [00:40:43] Speaker C: I took the best money line. If you're, if you're gonna make me choose a side in this room, I, I would take Pat. I, I'll take Pat's with the points too. I don't know, I don't know how you're scoring this one at home with you staying away and stuff. [00:40:55] Speaker A: Yeah, it's not like the old. It's not the circuit contest line so you know. [00:41:00] Speaker B: Yeah, that's different. Final game Monday night. Houston Texans three point favorites against my Pittsburgh Steelers in the A creer or whatever they renamed Hinesfield over under 39 and a half acresher. There you go. [00:41:17] Speaker A: I prefer Heinz. [00:41:18] Speaker B: Yeah, I prefer hines as well. 39 and a half over under. Jason, take it away. [00:41:26] Speaker C: Yeah, Aaron already spoiled this one I think early in the week so I. [00:41:30] Speaker A: I don't want to. [00:41:31] Speaker C: I mean maybe he's changed his mind since then but I just don't, I don't, I don't, I don't see it for your Steelers in this one. Rome just. There was, there was a great game. I love the Sunday night game where it was at. But this Texans team or this defense is at, man, it's going to be tough for wide receivers to get separation for Aaron Rodgers. That front four getting after Rodgers and really stopping the run. I, I just think it's going to be very difficult for the Steelers to be able to get the ball up and down the field. And as maybe some questions that are in that Texans offense have kind of been answered. You saw Nico Collins, you know, down the stretch, you know, he's got over 1100 yards receiving. Stroud seemed to be find the rhythm, you know, really good for a 12 and 5 team where they're still kind of questioning what Stroud could be as a starting quarterback in this league. I'll take the Texans minus three. [00:42:19] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm gonna agree here. I like the Texans. I mean that defense we talked about at Rome, you've been touching on it for the last two months. We've been beating it like a dead horse here. I mean super bowl defense and you know, they basically didn't have to really play hard against, you know, the Colts after Jacksonville jumped out to that early lead. Steelers Sunday night emotional, physical game against your division rivals from that last playoff spot just takes a toll on the body. Houston, that physical defense, I think they're just going to overwhelm Aaron Rodgers in that group. It's going to be tough for the Steelers to muster up a lot of points in this game against the defense that gives up less than 17 a game. Houston, I don't love their offensive line, so maybe the Steelers can kind of create some stuff and some turnovers there. But Nico Collins, as Jason mentions, put up some big numbers. They've had some other guys step up figures late. The rookies, wide receivers they got from Iowa State. Woody Marks has been really good these last two months since they got him more involved in the offense. I got the Texans going to the super bowl, so yeah, I am taking them this week. I like on the minus three. [00:43:23] Speaker B: Wow, that's your new pick, huh? [00:43:26] Speaker A: I got him. I got him coming out of the AFC room. [00:43:28] Speaker B: God damn. All right, maybe a year, maybe a. [00:43:32] Speaker A: Year early on them. A year early, year later. Yeah, I got the Texas going to the super bowl out of the afc. [00:43:40] Speaker B: This text team is really good and, and I think they got the right makeup to make a deep playoff run. The O line as you mentioned, question marks sometimes the offense looks kind of scatterbrained a little bit with some of the play calling. Although Stroud looks like he's kind of returned to form a little bit still. It's looked a little weird. I know they didn't need a win against the Colts, but that game was like kind of bad to kind of end the season. They, they did not look that good and they've had like a few of those now, like in the last like three or four games or so. I think Pittsburgh has a real chance here. I'm gonna take them with the points. Not surprised if Texans win. You know, that was, you know, I'm a big. DeMarco, Tamiko, whatever. I'm a big coach guy. But Rogers as well, he's purposely played the way he has played all season long to make it this far. He has avoided hits, avoid any type of injury. I think he's gonna step into the pocket a little bit. You saw him take a really big hit in the last game when they needed it to make a big throw. They had a big touchdown. The time has come for Rogers to make some noise for the first time in the playoffs in a long time. I'll take three points. I think it's gonna be under the 39 and a half. I got this at 19 to 17. Steelers with the upset with the throwback defensive performance of a lifetime. And anything's possible. As Kevin Garner said, as Kevin Garnett said, anything is possible. And I'm believing my Steelers. I got my daughter this weekend. I know she'll be back in school on Monday night, but I'll make sure she goes to school in the, in the Steelers jersey. I'll film the good vibes. I might load up on some Miller highlights, grab some for net, do like an old school drunk fest for that Monday night game. [00:45:32] Speaker C: Rome pulling out all the superstitions for this Monday night game. [00:45:35] Speaker A: Yeah, I think actually, I think the most important thing is Tomlin's never lost at Monday night at home. [00:45:41] Speaker B: So you know what I'm dropping on my daughter. Why don't I just watch it down there with one of you guys? Or we can just all watch together. I think that'll be kind of epic right there. A Chili's. Dave and Foster. [00:45:53] Speaker A: Jason's probably at work, right? [00:45:56] Speaker C: Generally, yeah, yeah, but. But Aaron's available. [00:45:59] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:00] Speaker B: 5:15. I might do it. [00:46:04] Speaker A: Let's see where I live. You're gonna get stopped by. Don't come over empty handed though your dark ass house. [00:46:13] Speaker B: Turn on some lights if I come over, huh? [00:46:16] Speaker C: He's just trying to be energy. [00:46:17] Speaker A: It will be dark at 5:15. No doubt about that room. There's no. It's not the summer hours here anymore. [00:46:22] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. [00:46:23] Speaker A: So it is dark. So you gotta go to the Super Bowl. Realm. Jason, who do you got? [00:46:28] Speaker B: Are we making predictions on that? [00:46:30] Speaker A: Yeah, might as well. We're here. You gotta Make a prediction to you got going. [00:46:34] Speaker B: I have no clue. This is like as wide of a year as ever. I think everybody outside of everybody outside of the Panthers and I think the Bears and the packers are super bowl contenders. No offense to your guys. Teams, you know, they're just pretty banged up on the pack and the the Bears are just young. That's it. But they're loaded though. I think anyone can win it. I don't feel confident about the Chargers either. So let me make the charges from that. [00:47:11] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:47:12] Speaker B: Who do you guys got? [00:47:13] Speaker C: Yeah, I, I think a lot of questions about both buy team buy weak teams. The Broncos all season. [00:47:22] Speaker B: Offensively, I don't trust them either. [00:47:25] Speaker C: They're knock them out so and I the Seahawks may have had some answers. I just don't know if they get matched up against the Rams in a given day. If they can keep up offensively with the Rams. I will say Rams, Patriots, Super Bowl. [00:47:43] Speaker A: Well, I think I told you five minutes ago I got the Texans from the afc. Rome. I'm going Texans, Seattle, Super Bowl. I, I like this. I like to see oxy get there. [00:47:55] Speaker B: Damn, dude. I don't even know like, like what the playoff bracket looks like. You guys caught me off guard here with the super bowl picks. Where's the bracket? I. I just need to look at a bracket here. I'm a visual person. [00:48:07] Speaker C: Well, things could recede and stuff like that. So basically all you got all these teams plus Seahawks, Broncos. [00:48:15] Speaker B: If I'm going against my picks here, afc Broncos get knocked off with whoever makes it out of here. And I think the lowest seed after this weekend is going to probably be the Bills. Bills take care of the Broncos. And then you have Steelers or Texans. That's interchangeable with going against the Pats. I like the Steelers or the Texans over the Patriots, believe it or not. And then you got either of those teams going against the Bills and that's going to be a slug fest. Still is actually have a real shot if they can get past this Texas team. I'm liking it. I'm liking it. [00:48:55] Speaker C: Elia has. He dismisses our teams but man, his Steelers now roll to the Super Bowl. I'm. I'm over. [00:49:02] Speaker A: Here's the funny thing. Rome mine or Jason's team's guaranteed to get to the divisional round, one of the two because someone has to win that game. So guaranteed at least one of us passing through. It's a guarantee. [00:49:15] Speaker B: You're absolutely right. [00:49:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:49:17] Speaker B: I still like the Bills going from the AFC side. Like the way the matchups go. I'm still believing the Bills. And for the NFC side here, I'm playing out here. Seahawks are number one. [00:49:29] Speaker A: We said Bill's 49ers. Rome. That's always been like your. [00:49:33] Speaker B: That was my go get initially. So I'm thinking out here, like, all right, so Rams make it out. I think the Niners went out as well, so they're probably the lowest seed. It's a rematch. Seahawks and 49ers, if that's the case, because although I did pick the packers for the game, I have more trust in the Bears making it out. I think they move on to the next round, and then they probably end up playing the Rams. Rams take out the Bears out of their misery. They go on to the conference championship to play the 49ers in a epic west coast showdown. It's anyone's match, but I like the Niners in that as well. You're absolutely right. I talked myself into it. Bills and 49ers. That's my super bowl pick. And if that happened, I wouldn't know who to root for, because Niners are my childhood team. They're still my second team, and I'm a big Josh Allen guy wanting to win a Super Bowl. And then it's like, you know, well, misery. [00:50:33] Speaker A: Misery loves company. Kyle Shanahan can't win a Super Bowl. Neither can Buffalo. So someone's got to do. [00:50:38] Speaker B: If that's the case, someone's gonna have to do it. Yeah. So that'll be pretty tough. It'll be up there with. [00:50:45] Speaker A: With. [00:50:47] Speaker B: With my Boston Red Sox facing the Dodge in the World Series. Like, that took me out, dude. It took me out. And I haven't been able to root for the Red Sox ever since. Until this past year. All right, cool. Nice to rule picks, then. How are you guys feeling on these picks for this weekend? [00:51:04] Speaker C: Not great. Playoffs. [00:51:05] Speaker B: Aaron's feeling good. [00:51:07] Speaker A: I like them, dude. [00:51:08] Speaker B: Aaron loves his picks. Like. Like he has a vibrator. He's like, he's going all in, dude. I know that look. [00:51:15] Speaker C: Great confidence. I'm not there. I mean, I. I don't love. [00:51:17] Speaker A: I. [00:51:18] Speaker C: You know, I picked the Bills to win the Super Bowl. I'm already saying they're going to be bouncing round one right now. So, I mean. So, I mean, what do you say? [00:51:25] Speaker A: Well, Jason, to fairness, he picked the. The Bills when they were gonna get home filled, so, I mean, they don't have home field. [00:51:31] Speaker C: That was. That was hard to like him on. [00:51:33] Speaker A: The road for three straight. [00:51:34] Speaker C: Hard to like him on the Road. [00:51:35] Speaker B: That is very hard. That is very hard. [00:51:37] Speaker A: Yeah, no doubt the same with the Niners. Rome. I mean, you're literally taking two teams. They're going to have to win out on the road to get to the Super Bowl. [00:51:44] Speaker B: Well, I was a big Eli Manning and Giants fan and they did it twice in superb fashion. It's, it's doable. And, and, and both these teams have the same kind of makeup. You know, I'm not as confident as in the Bills coach. I really need him to get fired. So maybe they can hire Harbaugh or, or maybe Stefanski there. To be fair, I've been calling for Shanahan to be fired like for like 5 years. And I even convinced like a handful of 49er fans to do the same thing. So they get beat. [00:52:16] Speaker A: Are they going to get rid of them or keep them? Rome, they gotta keep. [00:52:19] Speaker B: I'm, I'm turning into a Shanahan fan. [00:52:22] Speaker A: How many years he been there? Nine is this season. Nine for him. [00:52:25] Speaker B: I did feel they got robbed at least one Super Bowl. I, I still feel like they should have won at least two of the last three that they've been in. [00:52:31] Speaker A: Heck, they could have beaten the Chiefs in both those games. They were up in the fourth quarter in both. [00:52:35] Speaker B: They were. Yeah. So tough. Life is tough. All right, any final comments? All right, we'll see how we do. I forgot the tally the season, so I'll do that tonight. [00:52:50] Speaker A: Jason has it. Jason, you have the tally. I know you. I know he's got to be on it. [00:52:54] Speaker B: Jason had a four game lead, but that was like with two weeks to go. [00:52:58] Speaker A: Jason won it. He won it. That's all I do know. I'm confident saying that I, I don't. [00:53:03] Speaker C: Have the tally, Aaron, but I'm comfortable saying that I won. So we can just leave it at that. [00:53:07] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm, I'm good with that too. [00:53:11] Speaker C: You could do the telly. I don't. I, I did not have. I did not log the record of the Christmas week, which we did not record. [00:53:18] Speaker A: Well, yeah, to fairness. On that week, Rome did not release the three Christmas Day games. So we can eliminate those three from ours thing. [00:53:25] Speaker B: But on those. [00:53:27] Speaker A: Yeah, but we all. Me and Jason both went.03 on that. But you didn't. You didn't. You did not send in a pick for those weeks. Rome, you did it on the Saturday games but not the Thursday games. [00:53:39] Speaker B: I'll have to go back because I. [00:53:41] Speaker A: Know you had the Texans and was it. I forget who the other Saturday game was that week. [00:53:47] Speaker B: But I don't remember that's. That those weeks ago now. So you want to not count the Christmas Day games. [00:53:54] Speaker A: Yeah, because we don't have your picks. We don't know what your picks were, Rome. [00:53:57] Speaker B: And you don't want to count that the Saturday games either. [00:54:01] Speaker A: Yeah, we killed the Saturday games. [00:54:02] Speaker B: Jason. To give those picks. I don't think. [00:54:05] Speaker A: Yeah, I think he said he had the same as I did. Right? I think you put that in the text message thread. [00:54:10] Speaker B: I'll have to go back and review. [00:54:12] Speaker A: All I know is we were on that Christmas and Saturday. Me and Jason were both 015. But we did not get your Christmas Day plays, Rome. And I think you went one and one on Saturday. So if you want to get rid of those and just count the Sunday, that's fine too. I got no problem with that. I still think. I think you and Jason probably tied for the week. Beat me by one game. My memory serves me right, but yeah. [00:54:34] Speaker B: All right. All the final results next time then, after the weekend. Be safe, guys. Enjoy the games. Share the pod. We had a bunch of listeners this past week, dude. [00:54:47] Speaker A: We got a lot of views on YouTube right now, dude. [00:54:49] Speaker B: It boosted so much. It was. [00:54:52] Speaker A: What'd you do, man? What'd you do, Rome? What's the secret sauce, man? [00:54:57] Speaker B: The secret sauce? The secret sauce is secret. The secret sauce is secret. [00:55:01] Speaker A: I like that. [00:55:02] Speaker B: We should be having some more reviews coming in on YouTube as well. Or not. YouTube, Apple. There's gonna be about four hours. [00:55:10] Speaker A: What do you got? You got a fake account? Are you writing these reviews, Rome? Are you paying people? Are you telling people to get on there? What's. What's the case, man? I don't. I don't want another KD. Kevin Durant here with 20 source from. [00:55:20] Speaker B: The sofa reviews is involved in a little podcast network. Oh, my God. [00:55:26] Speaker A: Don't choke up. You can't even see them. A straight face, Rome. I don't know, dude. I don't know what you think, Jason. This dude can't even say that with a straight face. [00:55:34] Speaker C: Couldn't say. [00:55:38] Speaker B: Never burped on almonds before. I need to eat now. We're part of a network. I have to give reviews to like a few podcasts. I have to listen to other people's podcasts every once in a while. It's like a Russian. [00:55:50] Speaker A: Are these all sports related room or are they all kind of over the map? Everything? [00:55:53] Speaker B: All over the map, yeah. And then. And, and in favor they have other professional podcasts that are having listeners, you know, they Check us out as well. And it's. I think it's promoted, like, in one of the emails, which went out to like, a few thousand people. So I think it was a good connection. Didn't cost as much. It's getting us exposure, and I'll have to do, like, a few more things throughout the year, but I'll wait till after the football season and kind of get on that. But we got some good results from it, so. [00:56:23] Speaker A: Yeah, it looks good. Looks. The viewership looks good. The numbers are up, so that's good. [00:56:27] Speaker C: Well, I can't wait till we get to F1 back and then the viewership will really go up, you know, dude. [00:56:32] Speaker B: I'm ready for F1. I was talking about cars today to somebody all day, and I don't know, it got me really. It got me really excited. [00:56:40] Speaker C: Old Checo Perez taking shots at Red Bull and everything in an interview this weekend. [00:56:46] Speaker B: I love it. Dude, I can't believe you hooked us up on F1, man. Can't believe it. [00:56:52] Speaker C: Listen, you know, we come a long way from you guys giving me crap from watching the Miami Grand Prix at the Dodgers game, but, you know, here we are. [00:56:59] Speaker B: That's complete. By the way. You still. That's still wild. [00:57:02] Speaker A: I'm not. I'm not even gonna comment. I don't want to get Jason in trouble, so I'm gonna get my mouth shut on that 13 cell phone. [00:57:08] Speaker B: Jason, that's. That's the Italian name. [00:57:12] Speaker A: My mouth. I'm keeping my mouth shut, man. I've been reprimanded too many times. I'm gonna keep my mouth shut on this one. [00:57:17] Speaker C: That's fair. [00:57:17] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:57:18] Speaker A: All right. [00:57:18] Speaker B: That'll do it. Source of the sofa. Like, subscribe, do a review. I'll catch up on clips, like, from the past year. They'll be, like, randomly sprinkled out. NBA's kicking up. I'm not going to talk about my Lakers for a while, but I'm ready to talk about trade today. [00:57:36] Speaker A: Aaron. [00:57:36] Speaker C: Is there a big trade today, Aaron? [00:57:38] Speaker A: NBA. Yeah, try. Young guy traded to the Wizards. Yes. What? [00:57:43] Speaker B: When? Yeah. [00:57:44] Speaker A: When? A few hours ago. Rome. [00:57:47] Speaker B: I get a update. [00:57:50] Speaker A: Yeah, that went through for CJ McCollum and somebody else. And reportedly Atlanta now is going to go try to get what, Anthony Davis from the Mavericks to the Wizards. Now that. Now that they have the whatever, cap space or cleared space, whatever they got going on. [00:58:05] Speaker B: But, yeah, how's. How's that a good trade? [00:58:08] Speaker A: I guess that's where Trey Young wanted to go. [00:58:10] Speaker B: We'll talk NBA soon. They'll do it. Like subscribe, follow the show. We are out.
